In a lot of other cases, though, BD is easier. I'd say I ended up having to purge almost every time I fought an assassin as a BD to get rid of poisons or stuns. The reason is that poisons and stuns sometimes get wasted on the SM's pet, but that never happens for BDs, so whereas I only have purge 2 and no PD nor toughness on my SM, I had purge 3 and pretty much all PD and toughness on my BD. For me, I have an easier time dealing with assassins on an SM than a BD, and assassins are what you'll fight most. I played a BD solo up to somewhere in RR6 and I've played SM solo a lot as both summoning and dark.
You can QC to recast it, but it wastes a lot of power. It's enough to make you a pain in the ass for melees but it's not good to fully rely on since a lot of melees can burn through your pet very quickly. İf you wanna run with tri-spec, 33 spirit will do the job. So you will end up joining 8man without him eventually. He will not get many rvr groups and necro+caba is not a strong RvR duo. But I wouldn't go for 36 spirit just because I have a necro friend.
If you are planning to respec to tri-spec at 40 and use a spec like that for rvr, yeah that would work. Tri-spec is not effective for caba to grind. That would be faster and safer for your duo since you don't have buffs or heal. That trio is so powerful as long as the mobs are not too high for necro to keep the power comming.Ģ- You can go for full body till 40 and assist nuke mobs down till they reach you. You should always look for a cleric for trio so that you can do bigger pulls. If you will grind your way to 50 with your necro friend ġ- You can go for full matter till 40 and do small focus pulls while your friend feeds you power. How about 36 spirit / 32 matter / 24 body?
